We had a great time 4
th of July. We went to Byron to celebrate. We got to meet baby Pearce for the first time. It was wonderful seeing he and Mary Catherine together for the first time. We had a wonderful time spending the day with family.
That evening, we went up to Macon to Idle Hour to see the fireworks. Ella had never seen fireworks before, so we weren't really sure what to expect. We had a blast though! The subdivision is on a golf course and we got to walk right out on the fairway and camp out. We got there probably 45 minutes before the fireworks started. Ella had so much fun running around on the fairway...she was wide open! Once the fireworks started though, she was all into it. It totally amazed her. At one point, it was kind of quiet around us and she screamed really loud, "That was
lellow mommy - your
favs color is
lellow!!!" We will treasure that moment! Mary Catherine just hung out in the stroller, unfazed at everything that was going on around her. Maybe next year :)
